Hi, I'm Bailey,

A little over a year ago, I brought home a thoroughbred, and right away we had our work cut out for us. He had a real fear of the farrier and anything involving shoes, so I was committed to transitioning him to barefoot. What followed was a deep dive into nutrition, hoof health, and soundness — a lot of reading, a lot of patience, and honestly, a lot of worrying whether I was doing right by him.
